Wasted years. They feel like a weight around the neck.
Years of addiction…an abusive relationship…an unfulfilling job.
But…when you bring your life to Jesus…He transforms the wasted years into something meaningful.
The Bible puts it this way: “…And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten…”
In other words…the Lord redeems the whole life. He forgives – redirects – and converts the wasted years into something useful.
Was Joseph’s time in an Egyptian prison a waste? Were Paul’s three years in an Arabian desert a waste?
Jesus takes the wasted years…and transforms them into something beneficial for the future.
So…you need not carry that weight any longer.
